Abstract

The invention provides a static economic dispatching method for a power system employing a group experience-based artificial bee colony algorithm. Reasonable search strategies are designed aiming at the characteristics of employed bees and observed bees; and a current food source is updated by different search strategies according to continuously updated selective probability, so that balance of global search and local optimization is achieved. Static economic dispatching of the power system is determined by the method; and the optimized output levels of various sets in various periods and the minimum power generation cost are obtained.
