Problems solved by technology

[0002] Barren hills caused by human deforestation or forest fires are very common, causing soil erosion, destroying forest landscapes, harming economic interests, not conducive to biodiversity management, and adversely affecting human production and life
However, traditional vegetation restoration methods mostly use artificial planting, and the planted species are too single, often forming pure forests, with low biodiversity and low survival rate of seedlings; planting methods mostly use the plug method, resulting in a uniform distribution of species distribution, not a natural random distribution

Embodiment

[0025] 1. Search for local natural forests according to the location of the barren mountains. The selected natural forests are virgin forests, which lack human destruction and are mostly located in remote places. The selection methods are: 1) located in the same climatic zone; 2) the distance is no more than 50km; 3) the dominant layer of the natural forest is tall trees, generally over 50 years old.

[0026] 2. Select plots whose size and habitat are basically the same as those of the barren hills to be restored. The judgment method is as follows: the slope is basically the same, and the up and down fluctuation does not exceed 10 degrees; the slope aspect is the same, and the slope aspect is divided into east, southeast, south, southwest, west, north, northeast, and northwest; the soil type is basically the same. Afterwards, the plot was divided into patches with a size of 5 m × 5 m, and the species and individual sizes of plants in each patch were investigated, and the type ...

Abstract

A method for rapid restoration of barren hill vegetation in the present invention comprises the following steps: A. Find the local natural forest; B. Select the plot and divide it into patches with a size of 5 m×5 m; investigate the species, individual size and common trees in each patch in each patch; C. The barren hills to be restored are divided into 5 m×5 m grids, and the type of each patch on the barren hills is determined compared with the natural forest patches; D. Plant different types of plants in different patches; the species of plants planted in each patch is determined according to the dominant community of natural forest in field survey; E. Replant the dead seedlings and saplings after 2‑3 years of planting; after 6 years of planting, cut branches of taller plants to provide space for other species to grow; selectively cut down non-native species to avoid alien species destroy. The invention is economical and convenient, overcomes the drawbacks of plantation or single planting type, and realizes the natural renewal of the forest and the protection of biological diversity.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for quickly restoring vegetation, in particular to a method for rapidly restoring vegetation on barren hills. Background technique [0002] Barren hills caused by human deforestation or forest fires are very common, causing soil erosion, destroying forest landscapes, harming economic interests, not conducive to biodiversity management, and adversely affecting human production and life. However, traditional vegetation restoration methods mostly use artificial planting, and the planted species are too single, often forming pure forests, with low biodiversity and low survival rate of seedlings; planting methods mostly use the plug method, resulting in a uniform distribution of species distribution rather than a natural random distribution. Contents of the invention [0003] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an economical, convenient, and convenient method for the rapid restoratio...
