Abstract

The disclosure relates to a remote control method and device for a mobile terminal, and belongs to the technical field of networks. The method comprises the following steps: receiving authentication information transmitted by the mobile terminal, wherein the authentication information comprises a mobile terminal identifier and a first user account, the authentication information is transmitted after configuration of a first desktop startup program is finished by the mobile terminal, and the first desktop startup program is a desktop startup program which allows remote control; authenticating the remote control of the mobile terminal based on the mobile terminal identifier and the first user account; and when a remote control request of the mobile terminal is received after successful authentication of the mobile terminal, sending the remote control request to the mobile terminal in order to remotely control the mobile terminal, wherein the remote control request at least carries the mobile terminal identifier. In the disclosure, the first desktop startup program is installed in the mobile terminal, and authentication of the mobile terminal is finished on the basis of the first desktop startup program, so that the mobile terminal is controlled remotely.
