Abstract

The present invention discloses a mobile terminal control method. The method comprises the steps of: detecting a combination gesture controlling the mobile terminal, and the combination gesture comprises at least one operation gesture and at least one press gesture; obtaining feature information of the press gestures and the operation gestures; comparing the feature information of the press gestures and the operation gestures with pre-stored data in an initialized database; if the feature information of the press gestures and the operation gestures is matched with the pre-stored data in the initialized database, performing control operation corresponding to the combination gesture. The present invention further discloses a mobile terminal. According to the invention, corresponding operation, such as quick entry to application, can be performed by using the combination gesture, so that the both-hand operation convenience is brought to users and the problem of high possibility of causing false touch by a single operation gesture is improved.
