Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating nephrotuberculosis caused by hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency. In the field of traditional Chinese medicines, nephrotuberculosis is tuberculosis, and the initial diseased regions are mainly in the lung, and tuberculosis invades kidney through blood vessels in course of time to become nephrophthisis with yin deficiency affecting yang, qi and yang deficiencies in course of time, thereby frequently causing insufficiency of both the spleen and the kidney. The traditional Chinese medicine composition disclosed by the invention selects traditional Chinese medicines rhizoma tupistrae chinensis, urena lobata L., brooklet anemone roots, botrychiam ternatum, narrow-leaved lindernia, folium mori, oriental waterplantain fruits, fruits of thinleaf adina, eclipta and phoenix hawksbeard root which have the effects of nourishing yin to lessen fire and tonifying the liver and kidney and are prepared in a decoction. Through clinical tests, the total effective rate is 96.7%. No untoward effects exist in the treatment course of the patient.
