The wireless terminal STA positioning method includes the following steps of sending a collection control instruction to the relevant APs of STAs to be positioned, wherein the collection control instruction is used for indicating the relevant APs to send a beacon measurement request (BMRQ) to the STAs to be positioned; acquiring signal intensity parameters between N APs and the STAs to be positioned through downlink interfaces of the ACs, wherein the N is a natural number; and calculating positions of the STAs to be positioned according to the signal intensity parameters between the N APs and the STAs to be positioned as well as positions of the N APs when N is larger than or equal to three. Compared with wireless terminal STA positioning methods and devices in prior art, the wireless terminal STA positioning method and device have the advantages of being low in cost, good in compatibility, and capable of substantially reducing networking deploy costs of users.
