Abstract

The invention relates to a three-dimensional lightning detection system and method based on the Beidou. The three-dimensional lightning detection system comprises a time synchronizing system, a lightning detection station and a data monitoring center, wherein the time synchronizing system is used for building whole-network time synchronization in a bidirectional time service mode of Beidou satellite signals, obtaining high-precision time synchronization information and transmitting the time synchronization information to the data monitoring center, the lightning detection station is used for catching electric field signal changes caused by lightning and magnetic field signal changes caused by the lightning and transmitting electric field signal change information and magnetic field signal change information to the data monitoring center, and the data monitoring center is used for processing the received time synchronization information, the received electric field signal change information and the received magnetic field signal change information so as to achieve three-dimensional space-time detection to the lightning. The invention further relates to the three-dimensional lightning detection method based on the Beidou, wherein the working principle of the method is the same as that of the system. According to the three-dimensional lightning detection system and method based on the Beidou, accurate and reliable lightning space-time information detection is achieved, quasi real-time level lightning time detection can be achieved, meanwhile, detection reliability is improved through multi-station uniting, and the detection range is amplified.
