Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for calibrating a transmission channel of a satellite borne multi-beam antenna system in real time. A transmission system channel calibration module generates an initial single-frequency-point radio frequency signal and changes the initial single-frequency-point radio frequency signal into a single-frequency-point digital signal by analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion, digital down-conversion and controller conversion; a transmission digital beam former (DBF) receives the single-frequency-point digital signal and generates a radio frequency signal by beam weighting, digital up-conversion and D/A conversion under the control of an original weight; the radio frequency signal which is transmitted through the transmission channel is sent back to the transmission system channel calibration module and compared with the initial single-frequency-point radio frequency signal to obtain the amplitude and phase information of the transmission channel by using a signal sampling and fast Fourier transformation (FFT) module; the amplitude and the phase information are input to a computer to obtain a calibration weight value of each radio frequency channel; the calibration weight value is input to the transmission DBF and then updated; and a compensated radio frequency signal is generated by using the transmission DBF and then output to each radio frequency channel. By the invention, the performance of the channel can be detected in real time, the channel can be calibrated, calibration accuracy and calibration efficiency are high, and high practicability is provided.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a real-time calibration and measurement method for a transmission channel of a spaceborne multi-beam antenna system, in particular to a real-time calibration measurement method for a multi-channel transmission channel of an antenna system using a spaceborne digital beam forming network (Digital Beam Formation, DBF). Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of communication satellite technology, satellite antenna technology has also been rapidly developed. Due to the characteristics of high frequency band utilization, large communication capacity, and high EIRP value, multi-beam antennas have become a common use for a new generation of large-capacity communication satellites. technology. [0003] At present, the beamforming technology of multi-beam antennas on communication satellites includes analog beamforming and digital beamforming. The analog beamforming technology uses power dividers and phase shifters to form a b...
