When the OSPF route is updated, through finding out an external relevant route which changes and an external LSA (link state advertisement) corresponding to the external relevant route, an OSPF external route which is influenced is only calculated necessarily without executing the complete calculation of the OSPF external route when the OSPF external route is calculated; the workload of calculating the external route is reduced; the integral convergence speed of the OSPF route is quickened; and the calculation amount is reduced when the OSPF route is updated.
