The method sequentially comprises a detection step, a judging step, a regulating step and a confirming step; the detection step is used for detecting an operation flow resistance value generated by the rotation of the fan; and a controller is utilized for the judging step to judge whether the operation flow resistance value is less than a set flow resistance value, if the operation flow resistance value is less than the set flow resistance value, the regulating step begins to increase the rotation speed of the fan, and the confirming step is used for maintaining the rotation speed of the fan. The rotation speed of the fan is regulated by utilizing the comparison of the operation flow resistance value and the set flow resistance value, not only are additional construction members not required to be added, but also because the air out quantity is in contrast to the shielded ratio of the fan, and the air out amount is controlled by the regulated flow resistance value, the fan can still maintain the optimum air out quantity and the optimum static pressure value at a fixed shielded ratio.
