Embodiment Construction

[0070] The drawing shows a pant-type incontinence article, generally designated 2, for absorbing solid and liquid bodily exudates. The incontinence article 2 is formed from three components that can be manufactured independently of each other to the greatest extent, namely a front abdomen part 4, a rear back part 6 and a crotch part 8 arranged between them and having an absorbent body 7 , wherein the crotch part 8 overlaps on the one hand a substantial area proportion of the belly part 4 and on the other hand a substantial area proportion of the back part 6 and is non-detachably connected in the overlapping area during manufacture. as from figure 1 As can be seen in , this results in an H-shaped basic structure of the incontinence article with a longitudinal direction 9 . then, in figure 1 The components shown in the joints are formed in order to form the Image 6 The shape of the panty shown schematically in the figure, on the longitudinal edge portions 10, 12 of the respe...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing incontinence pants (2) for absorbing bodily excretions. Said incontinence pants comprise a front stomach section (4) and a rear back section (6) which are interlinked during manufacture at both side seam zones (14) to define a closed waist opening (18). The pants further comprise a crotch section (8) holding an absorption body (7), which crotch section is undetachably joined to the stomach section (4) and the back section (6). First elasticating means (28) are provided in the stomach section (4) and the back section (6) and extend at a distance to each other and parallel in the cross or waist circumferential direction (16). Second elasticating means (40, 42) are provided in a crotch-side area (22, 26) of the stomach section (4) and the back section (6) facing the leg openings (19), said elasticating means extending from the two side seam zones (14) in a direction (56) towards a longitudinal center axis (44) of the incontinence pant (2) and fanning out at increasing distances in a curve. The method according to the invention comprises the following steps: supplying crotch sections (8) holding absorption bodies (7), said crotch sections having cut-out sections for the legs (116), which cut-out sections are formed by a first contour cut (112); supplying two nonwoven part webs (122, 124) that define the later stomach section (4) or the later back section (6) of the incontinence article (2); supplying and applying the second elasticating means (40, 42) to the two part webs (122, 124) and immobilizing them thereon.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a continuous process for the manufacture of a pant-type incontinence article for absorbing bodily excretions, said incontinence article having: a front abdominal section and a rear back section, said abdomen section and said back section Interconnected during manufacture on the side seam areas on both sides for forming a transversely or hip-wise continuous abdominal and back band with a buttock opening closed in the direction of the hip; a crotch portion with an absorbent body, The crotch portion extends in a longitudinal direction between and is non-detachably connected to the abdomen portion and the back portion, wherein the crotch portion and the abdomen portion and the back portion form a boundary of a leg opening of the incontinence article , wherein first elasticizing means are provided in the abdominal part and in the back part, said first elasticizing means extend at a distance from each other and parallel to each...
