Abstract

The invention relates to an adapter ring, which is used for joining a first lens fixing seat and a second lens fixing seat with different thread sizes. The adapter ring comprises a first hollow cylinder, wherein the first hollow cylinder is provided with an inner surface and an outer surface which are opposite to each other; the outer surface is provided with external thread which is threaded with the first lens fixing seat; the inner surface is provided with an internal thread which is threaded with the second lens fixing seat; and the internal thread has a tooth size different from that of the external thread. By fixing the first lens fixing seat to the second lens fixing seat through the first hollow cylinder, the adapter ring improves the matching elasticity between the first lens fixing seat (such as a lens barrel or a lens barrel seat) and the second lens fixing seat. The invention also relates to a lens module using the adapter ring.
