Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a method and a device for adjusting brightness in a paper-like display device and a paper-like display system. The method comprises the following steps: detecting the brightness of ambient light of the paper-like display device to acquire an ambient light intensity value; comparing the ambient light intensity value with a preset adjusting threshold parameter to acquire a comparison result; and adjusting the light intensity value of an illumination system of the paper-like display device according to the comparison result. The ambient light intensity value is compared with the preset adjusting threshold parameter so that the illumination system of the paper-like display device adjusts the ambient light intensity value according to the ambient of the paper-like display device; therefore, the method and the device for adjusting the brightness in the paper-like display device and the paper-like display system promote the experiences of users during reading the paper-like display device, and effectively reduce the electrical energy consumption of the illumination system of the paper-like display device.
