The invention relates to a GOOSE mode networking spare power automatic switching method based on a digital transmission network, whole spare power automatic switching function is jointly completed by interval layers of different protected objects, various dispersed measurement and control units take charge of distinguishing whether has voltage, current and TV wire break and the like, discrimination results are transmitted to a main logic treatment unit in a mode of GOOSE signals through the digital transmission network, output results are also transmitted to the dispersed measurement and control units in the mode of the GOOSE signals through the digital transmission network to drive an intelligent switch to complete the whole logic function. Analog quantity is collected through using IEC61850 standard SMV service message and is transported to the measurement and control units, and a switching value and the logic discrimination results are transported by using a GOOSE channel. The whole spare power automatic switching function can be directly used for a digital substation which is built based on an IEC61850 protocol.
