Benefits of technology

This patented describes different ways that can be used in an electronic device or system. These techniques help improve its performance by improving efficiency when it works properly with other components on the same circuit board.

Problems solved by technology

This patents describes how peoples use drugs like Oxycontaining Pain Relief® (OX), which causes serious harm when used excessively due to its effects on brain function. These methods aim to provide temporary relief from narcotic abusers' discomfort through medicines but they also cause side effects related issues. Therefore, researchers focuses on developing better ways to manage them effectively while reducing negative consequences associated with substances being taken up into our body.

Abstract

Systems and methods for delivering therapy to a patient utilize percutaneous stimulation of neural structures in a region of an ear of the patient delivered by an ear-like stimulation device having an in-ear assembly having a first electrode disposed in the ear of the patient and a headphone assembly having a second electrode disposed in the ear of the patient, the earphone assembly has a second electrode placed around the auricle. The pulse generator may control delivery of therapy by delivering a first series of stimulation pulses to the first electrode for stimulating the first neural structure (s) and a second series of stimulation pulses to the second electrode for stimulating the second neural structure (s). The first electrode and the second electrode are in non-puncturing contact with tissue on and/or around the ear.
