Embodiment Construction

[0030] While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described in detail, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The preferred embodiments of the invention are not intended to limit these embodiments of the invention in the broadest respects. On the contrary, the invention is intended to cover alternatives, modifications and equivalents, which may be included within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.

[0031] see figure 1 and figure 2 , which shows an interlockable divider 600 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The divider plate 600 is rigid and generally rectangular in shape. A protruding edge 62 is provided on the longitudinal edge of the partition plate 600 , and a plurality of spaced holes 63 , 65 , 67 are formed on the protruding edge 62 at intervals for fixing an interlocking mechanism. A recess 69 is formed between a plurality of said protruding edges. A plurality of scre...

Abstract

An interlockable partition panel and a method of fabrication the same are provided. The interlockable partition panel is substantially rectangular and suitable for office plan or residential rooms, and includes a plurality of panels having protruded edge formed along the edges of the longer side of the panel defining a channel therebetween adapted to house cables and the like therein, and having aplurality of gap holes spaced apart along the lateral edge of the panel; a first locking mechanism mounted at the gap holes; and a second locking mechanism inserted into the first locking mechanism so that the panels are alignedly mounted and securedly formed as a partition wall.

Description

technical field [0001] This invention relates to divider panels, particularly divider panels with an easy interlocking mechanism to better align all adjacent divider panels to form walls and to allow walls formed by divider panels to be adjustable in width ( or thickness) to suit commercial needs and preferences. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a partition. Background technique [0002] Known interlockable or detachable partition systems typically include vertical partitions, partitions, room partitions and the like. In many partition wall installation instances it is desirable that the partition wall system comprises a floor to ceiling continuous wall and its extensions. These panels can be moved from one location to another. [0003] Room divider systems are more common for modern offices because they can be applied over large areas, aesthetically and economically subdivided to maximize worker productivity, however, despite their flexibility...
