Embodiment Construction

[0072] figure 1 A system for generating electrical power according to the present invention is shown, said system comprising a plurality of solar collectors 10 movable about respective axes R of rotation. These current collectors 10 are held by a support structure 20 such that sufficient height is provided below the current collectors 10 for agricultural machinery to pass, in particular a height between 3 and 5 meters.

[0073] The support structure 20 includes a rod 21 which supports a frame 22 to which the current collector 10 is hinged.

[0074] Each current collector 10 is pivoted about a respective axis R by means of at least one actuator 30 .

[0075] As shown, the actuators 30 are provided individually for each current collector 10, for example. As a variant, the same actuator 30 can rotate several solar collectors 10 .

[0076] For example, the actuators 30 each include one or more electric motors, such as servo motors.

Abstract

The invention relates to an electricity generation method using orientable photovoltaic sensors (10) disposed above crops (C), the shadow projected onto the crops being altered by changes in the orientation of the sensors. The method is characterised in that the orientation of the sensors is controlled in a computerized and automatic manner in order to affect the microclimatic conditions of the crops by changing the orientation of the sensors, in particular in order to place crops in microclimatic conditions more suited to obtaining a desired agricultural result, while seeking to achieve an optimum, reducing electricity generation as little as possible in relation to a reference that is not combined with crops.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the use of photovoltaic collectors to generate electricity. Background technique [0002] The generation of electricity from photovoltaic sources has undergone tremendous development. [0003] In some geographic areas, current collectors can be installed without adversely affecting the extent of the arable area. [0004] In other areas, installing current collectors damages arable areas. [0005] Numerous experiments have been carried out in order to reconcile the generation of electricity with the protection of the arable range. [0006] Therefore, it has been proposed in the article "Japan Next-Generation Farmers Cultivate Crops and Solar Energy" (Renewable Energy world, October 10, 2013) to cultivate plants in areas affected by shadows cast on the ground by current collectors. [0007] The publication "Combining Solar photovoltaic panels and food crops for optimising land use: Towards new agrivoltaic schemes" (Ren...
