Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides an event context acquisition method and system based on micro-blogs. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring information specific to original micro-blogs and forwarding micro-blogs of events included in a predetermined topic within a statistics time interval; calculating the corresponding event hotness time distribution of the information of the original micro-blogs and forwarding micro-blogs of the events specific to the topic within the statistics time interval; and selecting a plurality of event context time nodes from the statistics time interval and corresponding node events according to the event hotness time distribution of the topic within the statistics time interval in order to construct the event context of the topic. Through the technical scheme of the invention, the event contexts of the events included in the predetermined topic are acquired rapidly and accurately with the micro-blogs.
