Abstract

The invention provides a method for retrieving contacts, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of: receiving a retrieving sequence input by a user, and using different algorithms to be matched with an address book, wherein one matching result is obtained by each algorithm and is a contact list; setting an initial score for each contact according to the sequence of the contacts in the contact list; endowing different weights for matching results of the different algorithms, computing weighted scores for the contacts in the contact list according to corresponding algorithms, arranging in order from high to low according to the weighted scores, generating a final contact list, and displaying to a user. Correspondingly, the invention also provides equipment for retrieving the contacts. According to the invention, the accuracy of retrieving is improved, and user experience is promoted.
