Abstract

The invention provides a method for displaying a left or right hand control interface on an electronic device touch screen, belonging to the field of information control. The method comprises the following steps of: inducing a click of a touch screen, generating and outputting an electric signal, responding the electric signal, obtaining current screen state values and position information of clicking the touch screen, computing the current screen state values and the position information, and outputting new screen state values, displaying the left or right hand control interface on the touch screen according to the new screens state values. The invention further provides an electronic device for realizing the method. The electronic device comprises a touch screen, a data processing unit and an interface drive unit. A user can select whether a left or right recognition function is opened by means of an interface mode switch provided by the electronic device, and can carry out commonly-used hand setting per se, so that the control interface of the electronic device such as a mobile phone and the like is more humanized and intelligent.
