The invention provides a business rule processing method and device. The method comprises steps of obtaining an input factor expression used for representing a service rule; analyzing the factor expression to generate a corresponding first expression node chain; obtaining a factor description file and an operator function corresponding to each node in the first expression node chain, the factor description file being an executable script corresponding to a current program language execution environment, and the operator function being an executable function corresponding to the current programlanguage execution environment; and traversing each node in the first expression node chain, and calculating and outputting a value of a factor expression according to the factor description file andthe operator function corresponding to each node, the value of the factor expression being used for representing an execution result of the business rule. According to the method and the device, thefactor expression representing the business rule is calculated by adopting the script and the function which can be executed in the current programming language execution environment, so the businessrule can be executed in a cross-programming language manner.
