The method comprises steps as follows: data about official account information released by multiple official accounts is captured, and activity levels of the official accounts are calculated on the basis of ranking of the data about the official account information released by the official accounts; all the official accounts are ranked according to the data about the official account information released by the official accounts, and parameters including Rscore, Fscore and Mscore of the official accounts corresponding to the ranking positions are obtained according to the ranking positions of the official accounts corresponding to different data in all the official accounts; the activity levels of the official accounts are calculated according to a formula as follows: W=a1Rscore+a2Fscore+a3Mscore, wherein W represents the activity levels of the official accounts, and a1, a2 and a3 are rational numbers larger than 0.
