Abstract

The invention provides a hair-based method for fabricating a diamond. The method comprises the following steps: putting hair into a vacuum environment, introducing an inert gas, and heating the hair, so as to obtain carbonized hair; carrying out acidizing on the carbonized hair by successively using a concentrated sulfuric acid, a hydrofluoric acid and a chloroazotic acid to obtain carbon; carrying out high-temperature heating treatment on the carbon to obtain graphite carbon; and putting the graphite carbon into a combined block arranged in advance, and growing for a period of time under the epitaxial growth process condition, so as to obtain the diamond. A human or animal hair is taken as a raw material, fabrication of an artificial diamond is achieved by a strict and reasonable epitaxial growth process, and the selection range of the fabrication material of the diamond is expanded. In addition, the fabricated diamond can be individualized from raw material selection, and the individualized diamond has collection value, so that convenience is provided for a user.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of superhard materials, in particular to a hair-based diamond manufacturing method. Background technique [0002] Diamond is commonly known as "diamond", which is often referred to as the original body of diamond. It is a mineral composed of carbon element, which is an allotrope of carbon element. Diamond is the hardest substance naturally occurring in nature. [0003] In addition to being the hardest substance in the world, diamond also has very special physical properties. For example, diamond has very good thermal conductivity, which is about four times that of copper; its light transmittance is also very high. When it is transmitted through diamond, it is hardly absorbed by diamond; at the same time, diamond does not conduct electricity. Based on the above physical properties of diamond, it has a wide range of uses. In addition to being used as a superhard tool, it can also be used as a variety of functional mat...
