Abstract

The invention is characterized by adopting the following steps of: (1) intermediate frequency heating: adopting an intermediate frequency heating furnace to heat blanked material to 850 to 1200 DEG C; (2) first-time integrally shaping: adoptinga Y-shaped forging mould to forge the material heated by the intermediate frequency furnace to a Y-shaped rod; (3) shaping by inner-hole drilling and milling: adopting a drilling device to drill a Y-shaped inner channel in the Y-shaped rod; and (4) shaping by bending: bending the V-shaped head of the Y-shaped rod to U-shape so as to obtain the U-shaped bifurcated pipe. Compared with the prior art, the process adopts technologies of die forging and extrusion to realize the integral shaping of U-shaped bifurcated pipe through die forging and extrusion. The pressure-resistance of the U-shaped bifurcated pipe manufactured by the process provided by the invention is greatly higher than that of U-shaped bifurcated pipe processed by welding and is not apt to crack; the manufacturing cost is justequal to 50 to 60 percent of that of the welding process; and the trouble of liquid penetration can be avoided due to no welding line.
